Chromium forms a dense chromia protective layer to resist high-temperature oxidation and thermal corrosion; tungsten and molybdenum enhance high-temperature creep resistance and endurance strength through solid solution strengthening; carbon forms fine carbides during solid solution treatment, significantly enhancing high-temperature creep fracture strength. For complex structural parts, "near-net forming" is achieved through precision casting with ceramic molds or directional solidification technology, reducing the subsequent processing amount. For example, the aero-engine turbine blades use directional solidification technology to eliminate transverse grain boundaries and improve fatigue resistance; industrial furnace rolls are processed by hot isostatic pressing (HIP) technology to eliminate micro-porosity and ensure high-temperature load-bearing capacity. After solid solution treatment (1175-1225℃), rapid air cooling is performed to prevent the precipitation of carbides along grain boundaries, maintaining room temperature elongation ≥15%.
