Haynes 230, also known as GH3230, is a high-performance nickel-chromium-tungsten-molybdenum solid solution strengthened deformed superalloy produced by Qinchuan New Materials (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd. The alloy, based on pure nickel, features ultra-high tissue stability, resistance to thermal fatigue, and super-high temperature oxidation resistance through a multi-element solid solution strengthening design of high chromium, tungsten, and molybdenum. Its long-term stable service temperature can reach ≤1000°C, while its short-term ultimate tolerance temperature can reach 1050°C, making it one of the most balanced commercial nickel-based solid solution alloys in the 1000°C class.
High-temperature stability and high thermal strength: Utilizing tungsten and molybdenum composite solid solution strengthening mechanism, the matrix structure is highly stable, maintaining mechanical strength and structural integrity under long-term ultra-high temperature conditions of 1000℃.
Top high-temperature oxidation and heat corrosion resistance: The alloy contains a 22% high-chromium ratio, which can generate a dense, self-repairing, and highly stable chromium oxide protective layer at high temperatures.
Excellent thermal fatigue resistance and structural reliability: The alloy has uniform grain structure, low and stable coefficient of thermal expansion, and boasts top industry thermal fatigue and thermal shock resistance.
Excellent forming and welding properties: Good plasticity in the solid solution state, capable of smoothly completing forging, rolling, stamping, precision cutting, and other forming processes; stable welding performance.
