Stellite 6B cobalt-based high-temperature alloy, produced by Qinchuan New Materials (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd., is an internationally advanced cobalt-chromium tungsten carbide-reinforced cast cobalt-based high-temperature alloy. It is an upgraded and improved version of the classic Stellite 6 alloy, featuring unique advantages such as high hardness over the entire temperature range, resistance to high-temperature softening, anti-galling and abrasion, and anti-thermal corrosion. The alloy's standard long-term stable service temperature is ≤850°C, with a short-term ultimate tolerance temperature of up to 1100°C, suitable for wear-resistant and heat-resistant components under high-temperature friction, sealing, and medium erosion conditions.
Ultimate high temperature wear and scratch resistance
Uniform precipitation of high-hardness chromium tungsten composite carbide hard phase within the alloy maintains high hardness and low wear rate under long-term high-temperature friction conditions at 850°C, exhibiting excellent resistance to abrasive wear, medium erosion, galling, and abrasion.
Excellent high temperature thermal strength and tissue stability
The cobalt-based matrix exhibits excellent thermal stability, no risk of high-temperature softening and failure, and is resistant to grain coarsening and tissue deterioration during long-term high-temperature service. It also boasts excellent resistance to high-temperature creep and stress relaxation.
All-rounder corrosion and high-temperature oxidation resistance
High-chromium ratio forms a dense and stable high-temperature oxidation protective film, with excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, sulfur resistance, thermal corrosion resistance, and acid-base medium corrosion resistance.
